Every great business story starts with a leap of faith. For Cheickhouna Seck, known to most as **CK,** that leap almost took him down a completely different path.

Originally from Senegal, CK grew up in Cincinnati and graduated from Withrow University High School before earning his Information Technology degree at the University of Cincinnati. In 2021, while working a stable corporate position at Procter & Gamble, he made a bold choice: he left his job to chase his dream of playing professional soccer.

When soccer didn't work out as planned, CK returned to a heavily saturated IT job market. Getting hired felt almost impossible. But instead of giving up, he pivoted.

### The Hustle: Digging Gravel to Building Networks

CK took matters into his own hands and started freelancing. He was willing to do whatever it took to keep moving forward—whether that meant digging gravel, mounting TVs, or setting up basic home network equipment.

While working with older clients, CK noticed something important: many established business owners were hesitant to take new tech risks. Being young, he saw a massive opportunity. He had room to learn, room to grow, and the energy to take on challenges others wouldn't.

> "I've seen it as an opportunity for me to step in. Since I'm so much younger, I have so much room to grow, not only for myself, but to create an opportunity for other people as well."

Going from freelancing to leading two tech initiatives wasn't seamless. It required late-night fail-overs, constant learning on the fly, and taking calculated risks.

> "Don't be afraid of taking risks. You can go a month without making a dime, to some months making double what you’d make in a 9-to-5\. Open yourself up to what your capabilities are, and don't limit yourself. If you don't know how to do it, just take the risk and learn as you go."
